Ospreys of Salt Point

This channel is sponsored by the Friends of Salt Point, a 501 ©(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration and care of the Salt Point Natural Area in Lansing, NY. The 34 scenic acres, located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, are leased by the Town of Lansing from New York State and managed by the town’s Parks & Recreation Department, local officials, and our non-profit volunteers. The osprey platform is located on the westernmost peninsula of Salt Point, accessible by a wheel-chair-friendly crushed stone pathway. It is free and open to the public.
