Zahir

Zahir is a 23 year-old Washington DC based multi-hyphenate artist, director, and musician. Growing up playing both the piano and trumpet, Zahir presented an early affinity for musicianship. He started his career as a visual director, using his hallmark visual recognition to assist in directing multiple short series’, and most recently, his debut short film release 'Unusual'. Since then, he has met or learned under major influences such as IDK, Saba, Joey Bada$$, among others. Taking these lessons along with him, he crafted his debut album bringing in many rising stars to create the perfect R&B/Alt Hip Hop vocal introduction featured on COLORS’ Weekly Releases and labeled by EARTHGANG as “hard as f***!”. The accompanying visual experiences, co-signed by Saba, monte booker, MAVI, and others, serves as his freshman solo-directorial effort and has been widely acclaimed throughout the creative community.
