Signal & Telecom Workshop Podanur

The Workshop is Located at Podanur approximately 7 KM from heart of the City Coimbatore.

This workshop, originally functioning as a repair shop for mechanical signaling items at Trichy, was shifted to Podanur in April 9th 1958 with the staff strength of 60. Initially, this workshop was engaged in overhauling of Mechanical signaling equipments besides this various Mechanical signaling items like Lever frame, Reversers, Lever Lock Circuit controllers etc were also manufactured. Further Overhauling of Single Line Block Instruments, Control phones and Control selectors was also carried out.
