Persecution of Christians continues to rise in India. According to Persecution Relief, between January 2016 and June 2020, there have been 2,067 hate crimes inspired by religious intolerance against Christians in India.

Adding to this, in social media, various YouTubers like shiva shakti, dharmamargam, intellectual kshatriya, neeraj atri, hindu jana shakti, nationalist hub, bharatavarsha and fringe twitter handles like @RVadiyala @ShefVaidya @noconversion @missionkali @exc_esther @sangamtalks @rajivmessage @sanjay_dixit etc., are actively spreading Christianophobia by projecting Indian Christians as anti-nationals, traitors, lesser citizens those that were sold out for a bag of rice.

In such a times as this, Gully Apologetics resolved to refute these pseudo-intellectuals and hate-mongering hindutva gangs to bring down their strong-holds, demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and strengthen the church from the gully (street) level.
