Starchild Project

This is the official channel of the Starchild Project, a research organization dedicated to investigating an unusual 900 year old human-like skull known as the "Starchild Skull". It was found in Mexico in the 1930s, and was kept in a private collection for over 60 years until it was given to Melanie Young, a neo-natal nurse in El Paso, Texas. Melanie immediately recognized it was not a typical deformity, and in 1999 she launched the Starchild Project, a volunteer organization that has coordinated research on the Skull in the USA, Canada, and the UK. That research has uncovered never-before-seen fibers inside the bone, DNA unlike any ever found in a human, and identified a host of physical abnormalities that have ruled out every known human deformity.
