Born from Berlin’s underground scene, named after the ancient Mesopotamian city, Ur’s Music is kaleidoscopic, experimental and psychedelic, originated from the need to express the ancestral energy of Sound, beyond stylistic limitations. A visceral trust in the power of rock music as a tool to shake consciences.

Ur's Music reflect the strong identity of the band and the wide background of Jacopo and Nico, creating a unique sound out of multiple stylistic influences, moving freely between Punk, Progressive, Stoner, Psychedelic and Electronic Music.

Ur's live performances are intended as tribal-like journeys able to carry both the Musician and the Audience into an "altered" state through musical extemporisations to suddenly awake with sexy punky songs. ​

The title of Ur’s first album “City of UR”, invites a reflection on the terminal state of contemporary civilisation, an awareness-rising on actual topics such as war, artificial intelligence, man-machine relationship and a diffuse sense of impotence towards a progress that is leading us to a dehumanisation of life, despoiling the environment.
