Selah Sue is a Belgian artist blending soul, R&B, jazz, and alternative pop with a distinctive, expressive voice and emotional honesty.

She began making music as a teenager, developing a unique sound shaped by soul, hip-hop, funk, and reggae. Emerging in the early 2010s, she quickly became one of Europe’s most compelling voices, often compared to Erykah Badu, while resonating with fans of Tom Misch and Ezra Collective.

Her 2011 self-titled debut album was a multi-platinum success, featuring tracks like “This World” and “Crazy Vibes,” and led to collaborations with Childish Gambino, Cee-Lo Green, and early support from Prince.
