Noodlehead Sewing Patterns

Hi there, I’m Anna! Glad you stopped by. I’m a mom to two incredibly inspiring daughters. My oldest daughter had the curliest blonde hair when she was little and my nickname for her was ‘noodlehead’. It’s one of many nicknames, but it stuck, it’s fun and a little goofy – just like us. I’m pretty sure I’m a lot like you. I love to sew and be creative.

I grew up sewing with my mom, but having two daughters gave me the drive to start sewing more and more. Before having children, I graduated college with a B.A. in Art. I loved painting and printmaking!

I started my blog in 2009. I started selling my own patterns in 2010! I’ve also written a book (Handmade Style, Lucky Spool Media) and I also design fabric for Robert Kaufman Fabrics (Collections: Forage, Driftless, Quarry Trail & more!).

I’m having fun creating, making up new things as I go along, discovering new techniques!
