ATAK Map

The ATAK(TM) is an extensible geo-spatial framework for Android. It does mapping and imagery in all formats, with the ability to perform a wide variety of collaborations with other users on the network.

ATAK is in wide use throughout the Federal Government, as well as state and local organizations such as state police, local police departments, fire departments, forest fighters and other first responders.

ATAK is available as source code, via the Google Play store or from TAK.Gov.

ATAK variously stands for the Awesome Team Awareness Kit (for Civilian Use) or

Tactical Assault Kit for Android (Military use).
