Roshini's Kitchen

My name is Zainab Jafri (Roshini is my maiden name). I'm from Sri Lanka and live in Karachi, Pakistan. I started 'Roshini's Kitchen' as I really enjoy cooking and using my kitchen as a lab where I love to try recipes from all around the world. Being a travel agent has been a perk too. Wherever I have traveled, along-with some wonderful memories, I have been able to bring home some tasty cuisines. That has also made me able to not only share authentic recipes, but also some variations and add-ons that would make international recipes even tastier for South Asian foodies. Even though I'm not a professional chef, I'm pretty much sure that I can describe and make it more clear to a house-wife who is a non-professional chef as I am one of them. We owned a well-known restaurant, serving Pakistani Food, in Sri Lanka back in 1998. I have also appeared in a few Pakistani cooking programs on the television where I taught a variety of Sri Lankan food.
