Phil Vandel

Phil Vandel is a singer / songwriter / guitarist from NW Missouri who has traveled all over the world performing. Vocally, he is heavily influenced by a combination of country and R&B. His songwriting is direct, raw, and full of vivid stories about life. His guitar playing is a mixture of bluegrass meets 80's & 90's Chicken' Pickin' meets Rockin' Blues with double string benders. He credits artists like Clarence White, Marty Stuart, Brent Mason, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Wariner, and Jimmy O'Lander (Diamond Rio) as some of his "Bender" influences, but also spent a lot of time with Vince Gill, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Gary Moore, Eagles, The Beatles, and many other albums as his style was molded into what it is today.
