Language

The Quran is written in the first person singular or plural, or in the third person, to refer to God. The Prophet Muhammad's statements are usually introduced with the command "Say:…".

Order

The Quran is compiled in a specific order, but there is no strict requirement to follow it.

Revelation

Muslims believe the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad as Allah's last revelation.
