Meet Amber and Chelsea—two moms raising medically complex kids who have chosen to embrace joy in the journey. Instead of asking, “Why us?” they say, “Why not us?” and lean into the beauty, chaos, and humor of it all.

Amber, a former teacher turned entrepreneur, owns the Better Together Playnasium, an adaptive play gym where all kids can thrive. Chelsea, once immersed in fashion, found her passion in entrepreneurship and homeschooling. Together, they bring a unique blend of experience, perspective, and laughter. Between them, they have four incredible kids who teach them resilience, strength, and the magic in everyday moments.

Amber and Chelsea know firsthand the challenges of raising both neurodivergent and neurotypical children. That’s why they created Lemon Cake—a space for parents to find laughter, community, and encouragement. Because when life hands you lemons, they like to say make lemon cake!
