The DEEGS is a department that specializes in Environmental, Earth and the Geosciences in the College of Arts and Science at North Carolina Central University. Courses in our department include soil and air monitoring courses, physical sciences such as natural hazards, geology and climatology, as well as the Geographic Sciences such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and other geography courses.
